Digital Lab Series: CreateUK & Omeka

You have a CreateUK account and would like to build a digital exhibit? Join us for a live, step-by-step walkthrough of how to begin creating your digital exhibit using Omeka. We will review how to apply a theme, create a menu, and build an exhibit. Bring your questions! There will be time to address any specific questions you may have about an Omeka exhibit.     Presenter: Jennifer Hootman, Coordinator of Digital Scholarship & Data

Stop by The Stacks Digital Workspace anytime from 8:00 am until 11:00 am every first and third Thursday from September through November for donuts and help with data wrangling, data analysis, or data visualizations.

Earth Science Week Open House

Join the Kentucky Geological Survey at the 24th annual Earth Science Week Open House on October 16, 6 - 7:30 pm. The event is free, fun, and open to the general public.     This KGS event features exhibits, demonstrations, and activities about earth science, including an earthquake display and simulation, an augmented-reality topography sandbox, a volcano demonstration, a stream table with sedimentation and erosion, displays on fossils, rocks, minerals, and more!
