9th Annual Precision Medicine Symposium

This symposium highlights clinical advances in precision medicine. Oncologists, hematologists, oncology surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, oncology nurses, researchers, clinical research staff, pharmacists, genetic counselors, cancer center administrators and cancer program leaders are encouraged to attend. Universal Design Certificate Open House

The University of Kentucky School of Interiors and Human Development Institute are partnering to offer an in-person Open House for the Universal Design Certificate. Individuals across a variety of disciplines deploy Principles of Universal Design to make products, systems, buildings, and other environments accessible to all.

In this staged reading of Arthur Miller's adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's powerful masterwork, a small-town doctor, who considers himself a proud and upstanding member of his close-knit community, discovers a looming catastrophe that endangers the lives of everyone in town. As he raises the alarm, he is shaken to his core when those in power, including his own brother, not only try to silence him but also attempt to destroy him.

Coffee Science Unfiltered Session 5: From Bean to Business

Join us for session five of Coffee Science Unfiltered: A UK Educational Series with Fausto Sarmiento, Center Director for the Kentucky Small Business Development Center in Lexington. Fausto will provide an overview of the key considerations for opening a coffee shop, including developing a business model, crafting an effective business plan and navigating challenges faced by early-stage businesses. He will also be joined by employees from Blue Roasters LLC, who will share their experience launching a mobile coffee truck and discuss the complexities of permitting and operations.
