Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center Diabetes Day

Hosted in partnership with the University of Kentucky Diabetes and Obesity Research Priority Area.     Join us in May for the first Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center Diabetes Day. This conference highlights advances in diabetes and obesity research and clinical diabetes care.     This is a combined research and clinical event. CE credits will be offered for some sessions.

Come explore two important funding opportunities in STEM fields: the National Science Foundation CAREER and the Department of Defense DEPSCoR – Research Collaboration programs. In each session we will review the program requirements, share outlines and planning suggestions, and answer your questions about the programs and proposal writing.    

16th Annual Mind Matters Health Fair

The Sanders-Brown Center on Aging will be hosting its 16th annual Mind Matters Health Fair on Monday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Marriott Griffin Gate.
