UNITE Ongoing Member Engagement Meeting

UNITE’s series of in-person, topic-specific informal talks will continue on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 11:45 am – 1:30 pm. Lunch will be provided to attendees. Society of Postdoctoral Scholars 2024 Annual Research & Career Symposium

The Society of Postdoctoral Scholars (SOPS) at the University of Kentucky (UK) is hosting their Annual Research & Career Symposium to showcase the work of UK postdoctoral scholars and fellows, promote networking among the UK research community, and encourage discussions on career paths for postdocs and PhD students. The objective of the symposium is to give UK postdocs an opportunity to share their research, celebrate their successes, network with peers (including graduate students & faculty), develop professionally, and learn about possible career options.

Intro to R Workshop

Join us for the first installment of the R Workshop Series, where you will learn the basics of R and RStudio. You will learn how to install and run packages, do basic arithmetic, create and name objects, work with functions, create and subset vectors, and much more. No previous experience with R or coding needed to participate in this workshop.
