Society of Postdoctoral Scholars 2024 Annual Research & Career Symposium

The Society of Postdoctoral Scholars (SOPS) at the University of Kentucky (UK) is hosting their Annual Research & Career Symposium to showcase the work of UK postdoctoral scholars and fellows, promote networking among the UK research community, and encourage discussions on career paths for postdocs and PhD students.

The objective of the symposium is to give UK postdocs an opportunity to share their research, celebrate their successes, network with peers (including graduate students & faculty), develop professionally, and learn about possible career options.

The all-day symposium features a keynote address by Dr. Ioana Cozmuta, Founder and CEO of G-SPACE Inc., on Resilience to Results: Mastering the Art of Finishing Strong in Academia and Beyond, a career panel discussion on career options for PhDs as well as a recruitment fair with industry partners, and several opportunities for postdocs to present their research (Postdoc Talk Competition, Postdoc 3MT Competition, Postdoc Poster Session).
