Equine Science and Management Fall Internship Showcase

Join us for the next Equine Science and Management Fall Internship Showcase to see what our students have been up to this semester. Equine students are required to complete an internship for EQM 399 course credit which culminates in presenting a poster about their learning experiences. Students, faculty, staff, alumni and equine industry stakeholders are invited. This event will be held on-campus at the E.S. Good Barn on Nov. 28 at 5:30 p.m.

Diversity in Clinical Research: Can We Do Better?

BERD BITES will be hosting Dr. Daniela Moga and her presentation "Diversity in Clinical Research: Can We Do Better?" This presentation will briefly discuss the importance of diversity in clinical research, will provide a brief overview of the recent efforts to improve diversity to address health disparities, and will engage the audience in a discussion around practical approaches to achieve diversity in clinical research.

Clinical Research Update: Obtaining Coverage For Non-Indemnified Clinical Trials

The purpose of this presentation is to give an overview of the process for submitting non-indemnified clinical studies for review by the Risk Management Committee in order to be approved for coverage under the University’s self-insurance program. That program protects our physicians from medical malpractice claims, which could result from their participation in the conduct of clinical studies.

Markesbery Symposium on Aging and Dementia Scientific Session

Join the UK Sanders-Brown Center on Aging for the 13th Annual Markesbery Symposium on Aging and Dementia. Researchers will come together to share current research findings and the latest updates on dementia, particularly as related to Alzheimer's disease and healthy brain aging. The event is free and open to the public; however, you must register to attend.

CRSO's OnCore Office Hours
