Diversity in Clinical Research: Can We Do Better?

BERD BITES will be hosting Dr. Daniela Moga and her presentation "Diversity in Clinical Research: Can We Do Better?"     This presentation will briefly discuss the importance of diversity in clinical research, will provide a brief overview of the recent efforts to improve diversity to address health disparities, and will engage the audience in a discussion around practical approaches to achieve diversity in clinical research.    

Clinical Research Update: Obtaining Coverage For Non-Indemnified Clinical Trials

The purpose of this presentation is to give an overview of the process for submitting non-indemnified clinical studies for review by the Risk Management Committee in order to be approved for coverage under the University’s self-insurance program. That program protects our physicians from medical malpractice claims, which could result from their participation in the conduct of clinical studies.
