Taunya Phillips has announced her retirement as Director of the Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) at the University of Kentucky, effective August 1. After 25 years of service at UK and in Kentucky, Phillips will transition to a new role as Assistant Vice President at Wayne State University, where she will lead commercialization activities.

UK among top 100 US universities granted utility patents in 2023

Frankfort, Kentucky, has the nation’s second-highest prevalence of Alzheimer’s in Black adults. Yolanda Jackson, a clinician dietitian pursuing a Ph.D. in health communications, is working to develop accessible information about modifiable risk factors for the disease.
