In addition to serving as co-director of the Neuroscience Research Priority Area, Dr. Linda Van Eldik is the Director of the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease Center, Co-Director of the Kentucky Neuroscience Institute, and a Professor in the Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology at the University of Kentucky in the United States. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Calvin College in Michigan, before heading to Duke University to complete her doctorate in microbiology and immunology. After her postdoctoral fellowship at Rockefeller University in New York, she served on the faculty of Vanderbilt University and Northwestern University before joining the University of Kentucky in 2010.
