Kentucky Office of Rural Health to Host Two Grant Writing Workshops in Berea
The Kentucky Office of Rural Health, in partnership with the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health, will host two grant writing workshops in March. Both workshops will be held at the Historic Boone Tavern in Berea.
The Rural Health Grant Writing Workshop on March 16-17 will explore how to identify funders and prepare a successful grant application. Topics to be addressed include:

The day-and-a-half-long course is designed for organizations and individuals who wish to address rural health issues in their community (rural health providers, clinic and hospital staff, public health professionals, community coalition leaders or others), as well as beginning grant writers seeking to understand the skills needed to research and draft winning grant proposals.
The workshop will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on March 16 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 17.
The cost of the workshop is $55 and includes all workshop materials and meals.
