The Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) offers the National Science Foundation’s most prestigious awards to faculty who have the potential to serve as role models in research and education and to advance their department, organization and discipline. Untenured faculty working in any NSF-supported research area are eligible to apply. This year’s CAREER proposal deadline is July 26, 2023.

The UK Proposal Development Office (PDO) staff will support assistant professors in all phases of NSF CAREER proposal development.

PDO’s Shana Herron is holding office hours to help faculty who are considering submitting a CAREER proposal. Bring your questions, ideas or outlines for feedback; listen to the discussion. Attend as many sessions as you would like. Note: May 12 is an in-person session at the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, although anyone is invited to attend.
