International Symposium on Neglected Influenza Viruses
The 5th ISIRV International Symposium on Neglected Influenza Viruses explores the latest research on surveillance and disease investigation, virus transmission and control, clinical and experimental virology, plus emerging issues and new developments related to equine, canine, avian, marine mammal, additional wildlife and other non-human influenza viruses.
Participants will include 100+ influenza researchers from around the world including veterinarians, virologists, public health professionals, physicians, epidemiologists, agriculture experts, marine biologists, historians, and economists.
The goal is promoting a transdisciplinary, coordinated "One Health" approach to the control of influenza by integrating the scientific input from public health, veterinary health, environment health and basic science.
The International Society for Influenza and other Respiratory Virus Diseases (ISIRV) is an independent and international scientific professional society promoting the prevention, detection, treatment, and control of influenza and other respiratory virus diseases.
