The Human Development Institute (HDI) at the University of Kentucky is holding a virtual open house to share information about the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program.

The LEND program provides a unique training experience for interdisciplinary students interested in serving persons with neurodevelopmental disabilities with an emphasis on persons with multiple identities, their mental health, and the perspectives of self-advocates. It seeks to increase the clinical expertise and leadership skills of practicing Kentucky professionals, future professionals, and families. The LEND is open to graduate students in LEND disciplines (PT, psych, education, social work, counseling, and other related disciplines), family members of people with disabilities, and self-advocates with disabilities.

University faculty as well as interested staff and students are encouraged to attend!
