The John P. Wyatt, M.D. Environment & Health Symposium honors the legacy of Dr. John P. Wyatt and his pioneering environmental clinical research on air pollution and lung pathology. Universities and agencies from across the state have partnered to present research and practice on environment and its impacts on health with specific emphasis on Kentucky.

Keynote speaker, Arthur Frank, MD, PhD will speak on Minerals, Plants, and Policy: Coal and Asbestos, Agriculture Work, and Policy Implications including Legal Activities.

A facilitated "Public Health in Action" discussion with the Keynote and a panel of experts will focus on significant public health issues that impact many Kentuckians.

Poster Session with Peoples Choice Award - We welcome abstracts focused on the environment and its impacts on health from clinicians, public health practitioners, students, and research scientists across the state.
