135 Years of UK Women Luncheon
Join the University of Kentucky Alumni Association in celebrating 135 Years of UK Women. It is the 135th anniversary of UK’s first female graduate, Belle C. Gunn, who graduated in 1888. We’d like to honor her accomplishments as a trailblazer, as well as the women who followed in her footsteps.
On Thursday, March 2, 2023, there will be panel and luncheon at the Gatton Student Center Harris Ballroom from Noon-2 p.m.
This is an opportunity for UK students, alumni and staff to share their love for UK and the opportunities they’ve had during their time with the university. After lunch, we’ll break for desserts and mingling.
This is a chance to connect our students and alumnae and provide them all with a sense of community, networking and professional development. As part of the luncheon, we’re honored to highlight some of our prominent alumnae and how UK celebrates and empowers the women of the university.
Panelists include:
- Jennifer Barber, office partner-in-charge, Frost Brown Todd Attorneys (‘05 CI, ‘08 Law)
- Dr. Laneshia Conner, assistant professor, UK College of Social Work (‘02 SW)
- Dr. Ima Ebong, assistant professor of Neurology, University of Kentucky (‘13 Med)
