2024 Oswald Awards Reception

The Oswald Research and Creativity Competition is intended to promote research and creativity in all fields of study. Join us at the 2024 Oswald Competition's Student Awards Reception on Thursday, November 14 from 4:30-6 PM in the Lucille Caudill Little Fine Arts Library. Meet the Student Researchers, Artists, and Designers 7 Categories. 2 Award Winners per Category. 14 Student Winners. Cash prizes! Open to all student competitors, faculty, staff, and campus community.

Beckman Scholar Information Session

The Office of Undergraduate Research is hosting a Beckman Scholars Information Session on Wednesday, November 13 at 4 PM via Zoom for all students interested in applying. The Beckman Scholars Program is a prestigious and highly selective undergraduate research program, affording students an elevated level of engagement with their research mentors and providing the scholars with an uninterrupted, financially supported undergraduate research experience that spans one academic year and two summers. $21,000 stipend for 15-months of mentored research

Curiosity Fair

The Curiosity Fair will be held on November 6, 2024 at 4 PM in the Gatton Student Center Grand Ballroom. The purpose of the Curiosity Fair is to celebrate the role of curiosity in education, by inviting participants to engage in interactive demos from a variety of disciplines, from science to art to humanities. Sustainability Showcase + Poster Competition

The UK Sustainability Showcase will be held on October 23, 2024 at 5:30 pm in UK's Healthy Kentucky Research Building (HKRB) Atrium. The People's Choice Awards will be voted on during the Showcase event and announced at the awards ceremony, as well. Students will have the opportunity to present their posters during the UK Sustainability Showcase. More information here.

Undergraduate Research + Creative Experience Expo
