Instruction on Gender in Data Collection Per Executive Orders

The U.S. Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice is providing the following instruction and procedures and is seeking award information on or related to surveys, forms, or other data collection tools that ask about “gender” or “gender identity.”

Proposal Submission Deadline Policy

To ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals for sponsored projects and to honor our commitment to a healthy work-life balance for our staff, the following policy was developed in collaboration between the Vice President for Research, Collaborative Grant Services (CGS), Office of Sponsored Projects Administration (OSPA) and the Associate Deans for Research (ADRs). This policy outlines the timeline and responsibilities for the proposal preparation and submission process.

New website provides export control and sanctions guidance for international UK activities

The site helps faculty, staff and students determine if their work is subject to export controls or sanctions compliance, to find exclusions and for guidance on required federal licenses.

Foreign Talent Recruitment Programs (FTRPs) Policy

As required by federal law, UK is issuing a new policy (effective Aug 9, 2024) concerning participation in foreign talent recruitment programs (FTRPs) per the CHIPS and Science Act.
