2024 Neuroscience Clinical-Translational Research Symposium

The annual Neuroscience CTRS will be held in-person on October 24-25, 2024, in the Healthy Kentucky Research Building. This year's Keynote Speaker is Dr. Katherine Hartmann, the new Director of UK's Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS). The symposium is free to attend, and registration details will follow.

2023 Stroke Care Network Summit

Stroke is a critical medical emergency that requires urgent attention and specialized knowledge to minimize its devastating effects. Efficient systems of care, including rapid recognition, diagnosis, and treatment, are essential for optimal patient outcomes. However, there are practice and knowledge gaps in stroke care, such as delays in symptom recognition, limited access to specialized stroke centers, and variations in treatment protocols among healthcare providers.
