2024 UNITE Research Showcase

The 2024 UNITE Research Showcase will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Gatton Student Center. This event is centered around elevating and promoting the importance of research at the University of Kentucky, across the Commonwealth, and beyond. UK faculty, staff, and students – in addition to UK affiliates and academic partners - will hear keynote addresses from national leaders in their fields, breakout sessions presented by local researchers, and a poster session designed to highlight the impactful work of our faculty and students.

UNITE Ongoing Member Engagement Meeting

   UNITE’s series of in-person, topic-specific informal talks will continue Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 11:45 am – 1:30 pm. Lunch will be provided to attendees.        Our speakers will present current research and works in progress to forge collaborations and network.        The topic for March’s meeting is Arts and Humanities.

UNITE Engagement meeting

UNITE’s series of in-person, topic-specific informal talks will continue on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 11:45 am - 1:30 pm. UNITE RPA members are encouraged to present current research and works in progress to forge collaborations and network. The topic for February’s meeting will be Diversity and Inclusion in Education. UNITE Randomized Controlled Trials Workshop (Virtual)

UNITE will host a virtual workshop Friday, November 3, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:30 am focused on designing effective randomized clinical trials. Attendees will learn the fundamental principles, methodology, and practice of RCTs related to planning, conducting, and completing a successful trial.

On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, UNITE will host the 2023 UNITE Research Showcase - centered around elevating and promoting the importance of racial equity research at the University of Kentucky, across the Commonwealth, and beyond. This event, which will be held in the Gatton Student Center, is open to UK faculty, staff, and students – in addition to UK affiliates and academic partners.
