Addressing disparities in Alzheimer's disease through culturally tailored health information

Frankfort, Kentucky, has the nation’s second-highest prevalence of Alzheimer’s in Black adults. Yolanda Jackson, a clinician dietitian pursuing a Ph.D. in health communications, is working to develop accessible information about modifiable risk factors for the disease.

Center for Health Equity Transformation's 5-year anniversary celebration

The celebration will include a keynote from Cynthia Rogers, MD, Professor of Psychiatry at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, as well as  remarks from Myles Moody, PhD, Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and CHET GRA alum, and Vivian Lasley-Bibbs, MPH,  the Director of the Kentucky Department for Public Health Office of Health Equity. There will be opportunities to network and connect with colleagues. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.
