The NSF has announced the first-ever Accelerating Research Translation investment. UK will partner with George Mason University to advance societal and economic impact of research by strengthening the infrastructure for scaling translational activities.

UK, partners awarded ‘Build to Scale’ grant to support Kentucky startups, diversify investors

UK and its partners are one of 60 programs awarded “Build to Scale” grants from the U.S. Department of Commerce. In total, $53 million will fund programs that support entrepreneurs, catalyze innovation and fuel economic growth.
