Program Growth and Partnership Development Coordinator, Social Innovation

Meg Allen serves as the Social Innovation Program Growth and Partnership Development Coordinator at UK Innovate within the University of Kentucky. In this role, she cultivates and manages relationships with innovators and industry partners, leads outreach and engagement efforts, and supports the coordination of program operations. Meg also oversees the team’s data management and reporting strategy, translating insights into actionable recommendations that drive informed decision-making and support sustainable program growth

Before joining UK Innovate, Meg held leadership roles at Kroger, where she gained valuable experience managing teams and enhancing operational systems in fast-paced, dynamic environments. This strong foundation in people-centered leadership continues to shape her collaborative and trust-driven approach to innovation.

Meg holds a degree in Management and International Business from the Gatton College of Business and Economics, along with a certificate in Business and Economics. She is also a proud graduate of the Lewis Honors College and the Global Scholars Program, where she cultivated a global perspective and a passion for cross-sector collaboration.
