Proposal Development Officer

Heather joined PDO after a decade as an editor of research grant  applications and scientific manuscripts with the Markey Cancer Center. Along with writing and graphic design, her experience includes a range of skills in project management, marketing, communications, and advertising. She earned master’s degrees in both communication and business administration from the University of Kentucky while working full-time. In addition to providing broad-ranging proposal development support across all sponsors and mechanisms, she has primary agency responsibility for non-NIH DHHS agencies including CDC, AHRQ and SAMHSA.
