EPA Climate Resilience and Adaptation Funding Toolbox (CRAFT)
From identifying funding opportunities and developing funding applications to implementing projects with climate change in mind, CRAFT includes:

  1. Overviews of EPA funding programs where climate resilience considerations might be incorporated.
  2. Climate risk tools and resources to evaluate and consider climate change risks.
  3. Communication materials to facilitate meaningful discussions about adaptation, resilience and environmental justice.

NASA Global Climate Change: Vital Signs of the Planet
From the unique vantage point in space, NASA collects critical long-term observations of our changing planet.

EPA Climate Change Research
EPA’s Climate Change Research seeks to improve our understanding of how climate change impacts human health and the environment.

USDA Climate Hubs
Climate Hubs work across the USDA and with partners to support climate-informed decisions for robust agriculture, healthy forests, and resilient communities. The USDA Climate Hubs continue to expand upon their priorities: a better understanding of the full range of potential climate change impacts; accelerating development of science-based solutions; informing deployment of adaptation strategies; and building tools for farmers, ranchers, and foresters to understand how to implement climate-informed and nature-based solutions.

National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation
NNOCCI is a network of individuals and organizations in formal and informal education, the social sciences, climate sciences, and public policy. We are currently working in 184 institutions in 38 states. We share a commitment to using evidenced-based communications methods and providing the social and emotional support needed to engage as climate communicators. By working together we develop the knowledge, techniques, community, and confidence needed to empower our audiences to act on climate change. And by speaking about climate change consistently across the country we are changing public discourse to be positive, civic-minded, and solutions-focused.

US Global Change Research Program: Climate Literacy Guide
Climate Literacy: Essential Principles for Understanding and Addressing Climate Change presents information that is important for individuals and communities to know and understand about Earth’s climate, the impacts of climate change, and solutions. Principles in the guide can serve as discussion starters or launching points for learning about the climate crisis and what’s being done to address it across the world.

The guide aims to promote greater climate literacy by providing this educational and communication framework of principles and concepts.
