Katherine Bullock serves as an Extension Educator at the University of Kentucky’s Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment in the Department of Forestry & Natural Resources. She and the extension team work to translate university research on water/soil quality, agriculture, and climate change into relevant, user-friendly programs and products to inform Kentuckians and promote environmental stewardship and health. Katherine is an innovative, mission-centered education director and exhibit designer with over 20 years of experience in cross-curricular environmental education. She previously served as Education Director and Kentucky Green Schools Coordinator at the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education (KAEE.org) and Discovery Education Director at Lexington’s Living Arts & Science Center (LASCLEX.org). She works to promote strong community partnerships, robust professional development programs, and engaging programming for schools that connects learners to the natural world.
