Climate and Health in Kentucky: Exploring K-12 Curriculum Connections is a virtual professional development workshop for educators. This free, interactive workshop will help answer important questions such as:

  • What does climate change look like in Kentucky?
  • How does climate influence human health?
  • What can we do about it?
  • What opportunities exist for incorporating climate and health content into classroom instruction?

During the live session to held on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m., ET, UK-CARES leaders provided content that aligns with the Next Generation Science Standards. This workshop is designed by and for educators and open to all who participate in the K-12 school system in Kentucky.
