The Research Mass Spectrometry lab has recently undergone a substantial upgrade of its analytical equipment. Due to this, numerous methods have been in the process of development and validation for the new equipment. We will continuously expand this list as more methods are validated.

The laboratory's primary objective is to establish and offer standardized workflows for campus investigators.

If you need a particular assay, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us, and we will be able to tailor a workflow to meet your specific requirements.

Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries or concerns.

Validated Assays

Panel/Service Analytes
Smoking/E-Cigarette use Nicotine, Cotinine, trans 3-OH-cotinine
Untargeted Proteomics Untargeted, data-dependent proteomic workflows able to identify 1500 proteins in human cell digest mix using standard workflow parameters
Targeted Proteomics Targeted protein and peptide assays, developed for abundant proteins in human cell digest
Bioinformatics Support Analysis and visualization of lipidomics/metabolomics data.  Formatting and submission to online repositories.  Integrated/multiomics pathway analysis
