An invitation to serve as an NRPA Visiting Technical Expert must be reviewed and approved by the NRPA’s IAC. The requirements include:
Sponsor
Each candidate must be sponsored by a UK NRPA faculty member who proposes the Technical Expert, provides contact information, tentative program and need for the expert’s expertise, CV (NIH format acceptable), and proposed visit dates for review. If approved, the sponsor can then invite the proposed Technical Expert. NRPA support can be used for costs related to travel, hotel, and meals for the Technical Expert and dinner with the sponsor in accordance with university regulations up to $3000.
